  This site and the door says they open at 8.. Either no one inside has a watch or they don't see the long line of people accumulating outside. I thought it was illegal to not be open during your posted hours.

  I've been in that office a day ago for a driving test. There was only 1 person before me on the window, so I couldn't say its a quite crowded. After the test the examiner told me what she thinks and I find her critics fully objective. What I did wrong - she saw it (I have about 200 000 miles driving experience, just I need a licence since mine expires while I am on a business trip in USA). I don't know why everybody complains of the examiners. The lady come to me, introduced herself, explained me how the exam will proceed. The examiners are not allowed to help you, neither to talk with you about anything different than whats related to the test itself - car controls, directions and so on. In my country you are supposed to have red the drivers handbook, to learn all the signs (we have more than 200 signs), to take 60 hours of driving with certified instructor and then you may have written and driving test. The only different thing is that its forbidden to look over your shoulder. It took me a week to start checking my blind spot over my shoulder, but it wasn't big deal. The bigger problem for me are the allowed right turns on red light here, that is something new for me - I have an instinct to stop and wait for green... Point for that from the examiner ;-) I've passed the exam. It is not a piece of cake, but It is not supposed to be easy. It should guarantee you know the rules and you have control over the car. Read the drivers handbook. Practice - there are a lot of free apps and websites where you could have a test similar to DMVs. There were really no question which is not stated in the drivers handbook. Drive safely and responsibly - obey the limits, always look for pedestrians (they are extremely unprotected), know what the speed limit is and obey the signs, keep an eye on your side/rear mirrors, look over your shoulder to turn or change lane, don't do last minute turns and line changes. Simple recipe for the test and for the lifetime. Just remember - don't expect any general conversations with the examiner during the test. And again - what the examiner noticed me after the exam were real mistakes that I did. It's not a dark place as described above. The people are just doing their job, I would say very well.   They have no idea what they're doing. I've spent weeks trying to get my ambulance drivers license because I have to keep going back because they're giving me the wrong paperwork or not giving me the paperwork I need, ect... They should know how to do their job better.
